Music for Your Wedding Day

Ideal accompaniment for Church or Civil wedding

Whether you're planning a big wedding or a small, intimate one, music can help create the right mood.
If you're getting married in the Bath / Somerset / Wilts area, we can help to make your wedding day really special.
We have a large and wide-ranging repertoire which allows us to offer a varied accompaniment throughout your wedding day.

The Ceremony

Getting married in a country hotel or a stately home rather than in a church means you'll be looking for an alternative to the organist to provide music for the ceremony.

Whatever the mood you want to create, we can help you achieve it. We can provide you with a list of suggestions and a CD of samples from these.

We can also accompany a church service - a string quartet can add a richness of sound and of repertoire.

If the music you want isn't in our repertoire, we can usually arrange it specially for you.

We'll liaise closely with you and the registrar/minister to ensure all runs smoothly.

Serenading the bride at Widbrook Grange

We can keep your guests entertained while they await your arrival with, for example :-

The Duet from the Pearl Fishers
Elgar Chanson de Matin
Meditation from Thais
Barcarolle from the Tales of Hoffmann
Bach Air on the G string
Can't Help Falling in Love (Elvis)
Someone to Watch over Me (Gershwin)

It also means you might like to be more adventurous with your choice of music.

Here are a few ideas from some of our past clients.

Natalie and Simon wanted a classic wedding with a romantic atmosphere, so they chose :-
The Intermezzo from Cavallieria Rusticana for the bride's entrance
The Flower Duet from Lakme for the signing of the register
The Easter Hymn also from Cavallieria Rusticana for their exit

Kamini and Robin wanted music which was personal to them; we arranged specially for them :-
From the Heart (Another Level) for the bride's entrance
The Wedding Song (Kenny G) for the signing of the register
I Do Cherish You (98 Degrees) for their exit
String Quartet instruments

Fiona and Ian wanted to keep it a bit more traditional. For them we played :-
The Mendelssohn Wedding March for the bride's entrance
Pachelbel's Canon for the signing of the register
The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba for their exit

Sasha and Guy wanted the best of both worlds. They decided on :-
The Trumpet Voluntary for the bride's entrance
Meditation from Thais for the signing of the register
All You Need is Love (as heard in the film 'Love Actually') for their exit
